CHECKING IN
Our small team of artists lives on-site, so one of us will almost always be here to help you get oriented to our space and the neighborhood. The morning of your arrival, you will receive an email and/or text with door codes that allow you to access the property and your room. Please ensure you have received your codes before you arrive, especially if you plan on arriving late. Late night arrivals will generally be self check-in, unless you’ve made prior arrangements.
CHECKING IN & OUT
Check-in is after 3 P.M. Check-out time is 11 A.M. If you plan to arrive late, please ensure you have your access codes.
GUESTS
Travelers New Orleans is a friendly, welcoming accommodation, but you must be 25 years or older to rent a room. Families traveling with well-behaved, supervised children are always welcome.
ROOM CAPACITY
Room rates assume two adults per room. Room One (corner king) and double queen rooms are able to accommodate up to two additional adults, for an additional $35 per night, per guest. Additional guests must be announced prior to check-in.
UNPLUGGING (WE’RE TV FREE!)
Travelers is a place to relax and recharge! None of our guest rooms have televisions, but there is lightning-fast wifi in every room for guests who want to stream their favorite shows or catch up on the day’s news.
BREAKFAST
Travelers NOLA provides coffee and light fare for guests on the go. Guests are encouraged to experience the best of the Lower Garden District -- there are so many wonderful coffee shops and eateries to explore! We have our favorites, of course, and we’re happy to share our recommendations.
COMMUNITY KITCHEN
Guests are welcome to use the coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster, and microwave oven, located in our lobby. The stove and oven are not intended for guest use.
PARKING
We encourage use of public transportation, taxis, and ride-shares to reduce parking demand in our neighborhood. If you’re arriving in your own car, your best bet is to park on Race or Magazine Street, where plenty of street parking is usually available.
LOADING & UNLOADING
For your convenience, Travelers New Orleans has a 10-minute loading zone for guest use, located on Magazine Street.
ACCESSIBILITY
Travelers New Orleans offers one room (Single Queen / Room #5) for guests with disabilities or limited mobility. Please contact us with questions or if you require special accommodations.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING
We do not offer daily housekeeping services. If you need extra towels or linens, please call/text us.
SPECIAL CLEANING FEES, AKA THE “GLITTER TAX”
Rooms that require extra cleaning will be assessed a $50 cleaning fee. The Glitter Tax also applies for any egregious spills, stains, etc. No one loves a costume more than us, but we respectfully request that you please leave the glitter at home.
QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are from 10 P.M. to 7 A.M. during the week and from 11 P.M. to 8 A.M. on weekends.
MINIMUM STAY
Festivals and other special events may require a minimum stay.
NO SMOKING
Travelers is a non-smoking property. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere, in, on, or around the building or grounds. A $250 cleaning fee will be applied to the credit card provided.
PET POLICY
We do not allow pets. Documented service animals, as defined by Title II and Title III of the ADA, are always welcome. Advance notice is deeply appreciated.
DEPOSIT
Upon booking, your credit card will be charged a deposit equal to the amount of your first night’s stay, for each room booked. See “Cancellations & Refunds” policy below.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
All reservations must be cancelled or modified at least 72 hours prior to arrival. If you must cancel or modify your reservation with less than 72 hours notice, you will be charged for one night plus tax.
RATE CHANGES
Prior to booking, rates are subject to change without notice.
DAMAGES & MISSING ITEMS
Any damages to Travelers New Orleans property, including its fixtures, furniture, and equipment, may result in a fee charged to your credit card for replacement and repairs. Travelers will charge a replacement cost for missing items, including bath products, and for any excessively soiled linens.
